the excellent Friends of Friends label released Ernest Gonzales’ new album “Been Meaning to Tell You” today… really an all-around awesome album package with a ton of remixes (including one from myself) and an awesome art book. go and buy it!
i posted some rough demos over on the myspace page, http://www.myspace.com/pollinati. not sure what will become of them, but there they are…
in other news, day of the woman is getting together remixes for an album release, probably fairly soon, on exponential. more info on that shortly… however i will say that some of the remixers we have secured will be surprising. dotw is on an ‘indefinite hiatus,’ which has resulted in me working with both yppah and stenographer separately.
i also have a new collaboration going on with pouff. i dont want to toot my own horn* but i think it will be awesome. and 10k cities is still in the works, if that is even possible. i think we’ll finish it eventually, but who knows. we have some guest vox from jonathan visger of mason proper for the 10k stuff… keep an eye out.
aaand finally a remix i did for ape school will be on a digital release via ninjatune in november alongside remixes from, among others, daedelus, yppah, fog, and pop levi. get it! BWOOOSH!
the yppah remix from the ep is up on XLR8R as a free download, check it out HERE.
also, the stenographer remix from the same thing is available on last.fm, HERE.
the other remixes are also available at that link, apparently there were some tracks left off the automated import into last.fm, so the remixes are on a separate album. great job!
also, there is a new album in the works, as well as a few collabs with dudes/dudettes, more info on those shortly.
so today the new ep, ‘inca orange’ was released in digital format. snag it from itunes, bandcamp, or some other digital retailer of your choice. more info at the exponential records site, here: www.antipop.net
